What can we learn about ourselves from the process of gold panning?
Gold miners worked incredibly hard in order to harvest some of the gold we wear and that has been work for centuries. While it is reasonably easy for us to be able to get hold of a pair of gold earrings, a watch or a dainty necklace, the process in which to obtain said gold was much more challenging. It would often involve taking a sieve, placing it in water and working through mud and slime in order to find gold nuggets. The quality of the gold nuggets would then be tested in order to give them value. From then these nuggets will go through many more different processes before they even get to a jeweller’s hands.
How can we relate to that in our everyday life?
There may be certain things in life that we experience that may feel like we are drowning in literal mud. We may feel overwhelmed and stuck in this mud . However in taking a sieve and working through the mud we are able to find the golden nuggets in life.
