Treating Illness & Chronic Pain With Plant Medicine ( Medical Cannabis & CBD)

I thought that it was time that I shared with everyone what has been one of the most helpful things to treat my anxiety & Chronic Illness. (To come out of the cannabis closet, so to speak…. )

Some time ago, I decide that I wanted to work towards becoming chemical free and I got my medical marijuana card and started using Cannabis and CBD oil in place of the harsh chemicals I had been using. I started treating all of my illness, chronic pain,  anxiety and depression with Medical Cannabis & CBD products.

Should You Treat Your Illness With Medical Cannabis?

No matter what you want to call it , cannabis, cbd, marijuana, weed, pot , ganja …. it doesn’t matter. What matters is that more people become aware of the benefits it provides and be able to make informed decisions on whether or not using CBD oil , eating cannabis edibles , using a cannabis topical, smoking the flower or vaping is the right choice.

Now depending on where you live in the world, Cannabis use may or may not be legal in your area. Canada and many places in the USA have legalized cannabis  and you are now able to not only buy, your medical marijuana but grow your own cannabis , which is great news for those who want to ensure that whatever they are ingesting is organic and chemical free.

I also want to make it very clear that like anything, what works for one may not work for another and it is up to each individual to test. Start small … you can always increase your dosage. I wish I had known about cannabis use for medicinal purposes years ago but am glad that in my perseverance to find something that would help end the constant pain and anxiety, I decided to give it a try!

For me personally, I have found that the best methods for me to counter the inflammation is to use topicals and ingesting.

The only caviat I have when it comes to cannabis edibles is the fact that most of them are loaded with sugar and or gluten. I challenge one of the edibles companies to make a sugar free cannabis edible. In the meantime , there are recipes for making your own CBD infused products.
