There are many ways to advertise your business, and it can be overwhelming if you don’t have a plan. This blog post will break down the different types of marketing strategies available to entrepreneurs and give you an idea of which one might work best for your company.
We’ll start with the most traditional form: in-person advertising. You could utilize signage on or near your store front as well as flyers distributed around town that offer specials or coupons for new customers. Another great way is through word-of-mouth advertising by talking about your products with friends, family, and other contacts who may be interested in what you’re selling. There are also online forms of marketing such as Facebook ads, Google Adwords campaigns, Pinterest,  blogging/vlogging.

Blogging is one of my favorite methods as you can reach a highly targeted audience, even with organic marketing when you know a thing or two about SEO.

Another great way to get more eyes on your business is to use some other advertising real estate, like your vehicle. I recently added a car magnet to our vehicle to help advertise my business to our local residents. As well, as other locations that we might be driving in. You would be surprised by the number of people who quickly jot down a website or phone number if something catches their interest. 

Another great way to advertise your business is with branded merchandise. Perhaps you go to trade shows or markets, a branded tent is a great advertising tool.  Other items such as pens, magnets, clothing, mugs, etc are also great ways to get your business noticed.
